What are some of the most awesome psychological facts? Brainy Things Explained

Psychology is probably one of the most interesting subjects out there. A lot of people go to study Psychology at University, for a reason. It's also one of my favorite areas of study because... the brain is something difficult to explain, yet it's something that all of us have.

I'm bringing to you today, the ten most awesome psychological facts that you will ever discover from now on. It will blow your mind.

1. People see you more attractive than what you think you are

If you ever feel like having low self-esteem, don't worry, people tend to find you more attractive according to a study conducted by scholars in the United States.

Having low self-esteem brings a lot of fears, insecurity, and anxiety, and it's time to work with it and love ourselves more because others aren't really judging you when they look at you, it's actually the opposite.

2. Do you want to make someone like you? Say their name out loud in a sentence

If you're attracted to someone, it's never embarrassing or awkward or even frightening to say someone's name, but not in any way. I'll explain.

For example, let's say you're saying "It's time to go, I need to go home" won't sound as attractive as, "John... I need to go home".

Think about yourself now. What do you feel when someone says your name for something?

I mean this softly or warmly, not in a loud or angry way.

3. Depression can cause you to age faster

It's a fact that depression and stress can cause you to age faster than expected, although, this is not a rule.

If it's in your genes that you are meant to look older or younger, this has nothing to do with it, but if you have a standard cell-process, biology tells us that depression causes someone to age faster than expected.

4. Your wardrobe says a lot about your mood

The way you dress is linked to your mood.

Changing your wardrobe to nicer clothes makes you more unlikely to suffer from depression.

5. An ant's sense of smell is great than that of a dog

Have you ever heard something about cats or dogs having a larger sense of audition/smell?

Well, an ant's smell is even greater.

How incredible is that?

6. Dumping people makes you more attractive

Have you ever noticed that a lot of people still hold onto their exes and, perhaps, you can't see a reason why's that?

Well, studies have shown that, at least, 80% of people perceive that their exes who dumped them become way more attractive.

7. When people speak straight to the point...

When people speak straight to the point and fast, they are more likely to keep secrets.

Also, a study shows that people who speak less are way more apt to lie, cheat and hide things from partners, friends, or family members.

8. You'll never be happy if you worry about what people you care for, think

Everyone constantly says that you shouldn't think about what people think, and that actually is impossible to do.

You dress up so people don't see you naked, isn't that right? Well, it's not that way.

If you're afraid of what people that you care about or that you know well, you'll never be happy and it doesn't need to be something crazy.

You just need to do what you want to do, as long as you perceive the sense of community and be happy with it.

9. If you want to convince someone...

Make sure that you're standing up with a clear voice and speech and, that they are sitting down. That will give you an advantage.

10. Bananas contain a chemical found in Prozac (anti-depressive)

If you eat a banana a day, studies show that it will make you happier.

‘Break My Heart’ is a new thing that I need to try out. I should, and I can share personal thoughts on traditional relationships, on structured beliefs, family disruptions, and worldly constructions. Because those things affect me. Now, if you feel the same way, you’ll love this book.

Movies to watch when you're feeling depressed

Welcome back to another post! Today, I'm going to talk about movies. I absolutely adore movies. I spent all my life watching movies, going to the theatres, and even thought about studying acting and movie production. Movies can come with a lot of emotion, and that's why people are into it. People enjoy a good time watching something that drive their minds away, that creates new emotional patterns for them. Some, just have fun with it. In general, almost everyone loves watching movies. If you work or study, it's even better to distract your mind with powerful and significant movies. When you're fighting the fatigue, anxious thoughts, and feelings of hopelessness - characteristics of depression, sometimes all you want is to get involved in a different scenario, go to bed and watch a movie. Although, there's a situation, that happened to me as well: "What to watch?" Perhaps, you're looking for a movie that allows you to pour you in tears, or y...
