How to go from depressed to healed

Many people often ask themselves if they feel depressed? Do they really?

Depression is more than just sadness - a low mood. It's a serious condition that affects people worldwide - physically, and mentally. It's a health issue-situation. We all feel sad, moody, from time to time, but some people experience these feelings intensely, for long periods of time (including me, for years).

I decided to start this blog with a post of "how to go from depressed to healed" because, even though, I still struggle with depression, I heal myself often to get through it. In my case, it's genetic.

How to go from depressed to healed

1. Change your mindset

Yeah, how can I heal myself if I feel the worst, and every time that I try to do something, it just goes wrong? Change your mindset.

Instead of thinking about what you lack, think about the good things you might have, even if it's small, it makes the difference. Start by taking a shower, and if you don't feel comfortable enough with your body, take a shower with your clothes on, it works!

If you feel like not going somewhere, or if you feel rather tired, move something in your room. Create a new space. Get strong in your feet, and just change something. It will give you a new vision, something new.

Find a new hobby. Can be as stupid as you might believe, but I created a new hobby where I invented maps. It gave me a new vision of the world. Also, watching documentaries, self-help videos, and writing poetry, gave me a lot of happiness inside, even if I didn't feel it at the time.

2. Do something that you're afraid of

I used to say to people when I was at my worst, that I was not afraid of dying anymore, and that I saw a point in the nothing. Well, if you see no point in life, just do something that you were afraid before, and now that you're anymore. Go to travel by any means, if you want. Do the thing that you want the most as if it was your last day on earth.

For example, I took a trip to another city, found a volunteer job, and met people that helped me through my issues. It was worthy!

3. Grow, spiritually and understand that depression comes with powerful tools

It's true! If you take precious time to do little things such as growing spiritually, you might find some purpose to heal yourself. It's a fact and proven. If you don't believe me, try!

Into more mystical stuff - depression comes with higher intuition, higher sensibility, power dreaming, talents to the arts. Use it.

4. Depression is something that you have, not something that you are

I used to see depression as an enemy - a dark place in me. It was until I realized that depression is something that I have, and things that I have, I can just drop off.

Movies to watch when you're feeling depressed

Welcome back to another post! Today, I'm going to talk about movies. I absolutely adore movies. I spent all my life watching movies, going to the theatres, and even thought about studying acting and movie production. Movies can come with a lot of emotion, and that's why people are into it. People enjoy a good time watching something that drive their minds away, that creates new emotional patterns for them. Some, just have fun with it. In general, almost everyone loves watching movies. If you work or study, it's even better to distract your mind with powerful and significant movies. When you're fighting the fatigue, anxious thoughts, and feelings of hopelessness - characteristics of depression, sometimes all you want is to get involved in a different scenario, go to bed and watch a movie. Although, there's a situation, that happened to me as well: "What to watch?" Perhaps, you're looking for a movie that allows you to pour you in tears, or y...

How's Coffee Affecting Your Brain (Pros, Cons, Risks, Nutrition - Q&A)

It's a major source of antioxidants in the Westerns Worldwide Diet. It's associated with decreased risks of diabetes and liver diseases. Although, there's a remaining question: Does coffee have benefits for your brain? In this post, I'm going to share my personal knowledge allied with science says about it. I can't lie.
