Movies to watch when you're feeling depressed

Welcome back to another post!

Today, I'm going to talk about movies. I absolutely adore movies. I spent all my life watching movies, going to the theatres, and even thought about studying acting and movie production.

Movies can come with a lot of emotion, and that's why people are into it. People enjoy a good time watching something that drive their minds away, that creates new emotional patterns for them. Some, just have fun with it. In general, almost everyone loves watching movies. If you work or study, it's even better to distract your mind with powerful and significant movies.

When you're fighting the fatigue, anxious thoughts, and feelings of hopelessness - characteristics of depression, sometimes all you want is to get involved in a different scenario, go to bed and watch a movie. Although, there's a situation, that happened to me as well: "What to watch?"

Perhaps, you're looking for a movie that allows you to pour you in tears, or you're just looking for a feel-good flick to lift up your mood. Personally, I prefer those movies who get me lost in a different world, for an hour or two, or three.

I prepared a list based on my preferences, and you're going to find something that you like because I literally watch every genre of movie.

Check it out.

Harry Potter Movies

I absolutely love fantasy, and sorcery, magic, etc. I always watched and re-watched Harry Potter movies. It's hard not to enjoy good movies such as the Harry Potter saga. My intention with these movies was to travel to a completely different dimension from what I'm used to. The action, the romance, and the terror explicit in those movies are fantastic. Read the books, as well, if you want, also great. My advice is to start with the first movie and go to the last one.

Coraline

Coraline is an animation movie. It's one of my favorites, ever. Coraline tells a story about a little girl that moves into a new house, in a new place, but she doesn't really like it that much. She misses her friends, her parents are too busy at work to interact with her, or even give her attention. She copes with herself and goes out to explore; she meets this other kid and his cat and they are essential in her adjustment to the new place. The boy gives her a doll that looks like her, but with button eyes. She finds it completely weird, but she thinks it's fun. So, shes goes all around the scene with this doll and finds a magic door, afterward. She goes into this door that actually is a parallel reality but better, and the storyline continues.

I've watched and re-watched this movie a hundred times, and I always do when I feel low with myself.

Dark Shadows

I absolutely love Johnny Depp, as an actor. He's so great at what he does. "Dark Shadows" is a movie that he plays the main role in. It's a vampire movie, and I cling for those, sometimes.

All happens in the small town of Collinsport. A town founded by the Collins family in the 17th century. In Collinwood - the mansion of the Collins family - Barnabas Collins played by Johnny Depp, falls in love with a girl, but a witch that is in love with him; kills the girl and puts a curse on him, turning him into a vampire and locks him up in a coffin. In the future, the 20th century, the Collins family still lives in Collinwood, in Collinsport but their business of fish industry is in decay, and so is the house. The city now is controlled by the witch. Barnabas comes out of the coffin after an incident where he was buried and tries to adjust to the 20th century.

This movie is a mix of fantasy, comedy, mystery, and suspense, and I absolutely recommend it to everyone. I'm going to look up if there are any books related to this movie because it would be wonderful.

Twilight Saga

It's alright. Twilight Saga is known, and not very appreciated in the movie industry. Although, I actually enjoy to watch all the movies while eating candy, and popcorn.

For me, all the scenario represent in Forks, is beautiful. Those dark clouds, the snowy mountains, and the rain are all I need, sometimes to feel better when I'm at my darkest times.

So, it might be good for you to watch it or give it a try and know how you feel.

Mean Girls

Mean Girls was such a success back in 2004, and still is one of the favorite movies of the millennial generation. It actually represents life in high school in America, and most people, especially the girls, can relate to it.

Teenagers can be messed up, and we all know that. We've been to it, possibly.

It's such a good movie to keep your head out of things!

I hope you enjoyed this list.

What is transgender? International Transgender Day of Visibility 2020 (Your questions are answered)

Transgender people come from all walks of life. They may be your coworkers, family members, or neighbors, or even friends. The diversity in this community is huge and is represented by all racial, ethnic, age and faith backgrounds. The International Transgender Day of Visibility is to honor and celebrate transgender people around the world and the courage that it takes to live openly and authentically while raising awareness around the discrimination that trans people still face, today. I'm going to be answering some asked questions via Social Media. No, I'm not a trans person, I'm a supporter! You don't have to be a trans person to support the transgender community. Just remember how hard it might be for someone to be placed in a group of minorities who suffer discrimination. 1. What does it mean to be transgender? The word “transgender” – or trans – is an umbrella term for people whose gender identity is different from the sex assigned to us at birth.

7 attitudes that will make you appear more confident in your life (in general)

https://content.thriveglobal.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/bigstock-D-Knob-Confidence-Level.jpg Confidence is something that we must adjust to. The world nowadays is nothing but a brag of confidence. All the things that were created were possibly made out of confidence. You can say to me? But - in my personality - something says that I can't be confident, I just am not confident. Well, you're wrong. I bet that when you are doing something you love, or you have a certain skill that you know how to use well, wether is cooking or nursing, volunteering, you're good at something. It depends from person to person; some people have more reliability in doing something that you still can't do well, but possibly and affirmatively, you can, yes, do something that you're good at. Can come from the most awkward situation to the best - you're good at something. If you don't know what confidence  actually means,   you can search for it in the dictionary (online dicti

How to go from depressed to healed

Many people often ask themselves if they feel depressed? Do they really? Depression is more than just sadness - a low mood. It's a serious condition that affects people worldwide - physically, and mentally. It's a health issue-situation. We all feel sad, moody, from time to time, but some people experience these feelings intensely, for long periods of time (including me, for years). I decided to start this blog with a post of "how to go from depressed to healed" because, even though, I still struggle with depression, I heal myself often to get through it. In my case, it's genetic. How to go from depressed to healed 1. Change your mindset Yeah, how can I heal myself if I feel the worst, and every time that I try to do something, it just goes wrong? Change your mindset. Instead of thinking about what you lack, think about the good things you might have, even if it's small, it makes the difference. Start by taking a shower, and if you don't f
